Alisha Smith - Advisory Council
Alisha Smith has a BA in Social Work from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She has 7 years classroom experience teaching & coordinating programming for transition students on the autism spectrum and is the classroom lead teacher in the TLS North East - Johnstown Transition/High School class. She is an instrumental leader in developing our transition and gardening program for young people on the autism spectrum, gardening multiple times a week with her students at Learning 4 Life Farm and coordinating life and transition skills training and field trips throughout the year. A lifelong family farmer, she lives on a one acre rural property outside Newark, Ohio with her husband, three children, gardens and chickens.
