Farm-based learning that changes lives
We believe every young person deserves the chance to learn by doing. At Learning 4 Life Farm, students grow food, tend animals, and develop the confidence, responsibility, and resilience that carry them far beyond the farm gate.
Our programmes are designed for students who thrive in hands-on environments — young people who may struggle in traditional classrooms but flourish when given real work, real responsibility, and real results.
Our history
How it all began
Learning 4 Life Farm grew out of a simple conviction: that meaningful, place-based education could transform outcomes for young people in our community. What started as a small plot of land and a big idea has grown into a thriving educational farm serving students, families, and volunteers across the region.
Over the years we have expanded our programmes, deepened our partnerships with local schools and organisations, and welcomed thousands of students through our gates. Each season brings new crops, new faces, and new stories of growth.
