Sharon Wiggins - Secretary, BOD

Sharon Wiggins is a life-long children’s education advocate.  She is the founding school librarian at TLS North East and is parent and grandparent to spectrum-based individuals.  Affectionately known as Nana to students, parents, and staff alike, Sharon has her degree in Biblical Studies through Vision International.  Sharon brings to her position the gifts of critical thinking and a background in entrepreneurial business.  She is a self-taught special needs transition specialist and pathfinder, former home-educator, and grass-roots activist.  In her non-existent spare time, she is a prolific gardener and avid reader.  A central Ohio native, Sharon and her husband James live in Newark along with their grandson, TLS East Sophomore, Charlie.
